Limerick Hurlers reach the Allianz National Hurling League Final

Saturday evening saw the Limerick hurlers in action against Tipperary in the semi-final of the league. A game of two halves with Tipperary firing on all cylinders in the first half and Limerick not being let play as they can.  After Tipperary dominated the first half, the second half saw a much more determined Limerick side perform with accuracy. Tipperary after giving it all in the first half, ran out of steam and options. In the end an impressive performance showcasing Limerick’s skill. No goals conceded and twelve of the fifteen Limerick players having their name on the scoreboard making a statement for sure. Limerick progress to meet Kilkenny in the final. Fixture yet to be decided on going to press. Well done all! Limerick 1-28 Tipperary 0-25
