Lotto

Our weekly lotto draw took place in our club house on Monday evening last 4th April. The numbers drawn were 5, 8, 15, 20. There was no Jackpot winner, so next week the jackpot will increase to €3,000. The lucky dip winners of €40 each were James Quilligan c/o Kelly’s Bar, Linda & Lorraine Curtin c/o Peter Curtin, Lilly Enrlight c/o D Collins, Orla. Paul & Orlaith Hannan c/o Margaret Hannan, Harry O’Shea, Camp, Kerry.

Our tickets are now on sale for €2.00 each or 3 for €5. They can be purchased online at www.ncwgaa.com click on Lotto on the drop down menu or through any of the local outlets/promoters selling same. A reminder to those of you on social media, that our draw goes out live every Monday evening at 8.30 p.m on Facebook. We thank you all for your continued support.

Note: anyone who paid upfront for 2020 will be entered on a weekly basis up to 28th November 2022.

Adult Hurling

Our Junior and Intermediate hurlers got their 2022 campaigns underway at the weekend, with the Intermediates losing out to Askeaton on a scoreline of 5.13 to 2.6 and the Intermediates losing out to Knockaderry 1.14 to 0.8. Next up for the Intermediates is Adare on the 15th of April.

Adult Football

The next senior fixtures are the 12th of April against St. Kierans at 6.45pm in Coolcappagh, and 6.30pm against Gerald Griffins at 6.30pm in Balllyhahill. The Junior footballers are out in the West Intermediate league against Glin on Sunday the 17th at 12pm in Glin.

Limerick U20 Football

Congratulations to Ruadhan O’Connor, Aaron Neville, Emmet Richter, Michael Cremin, Todd Donovan and Sean Geraghty on their victory over Waterford in the 1st round of the Munster U20 championship on the 11th of April. Ruadhan has the honour of captaining the side for 2022, following in the footsteps of Brian Foley in 2021.

Limerick Minor Hurling

Huge congratulations to Diarmuid Lyons who has been named to start at half back for Limerick minor hurlers in the Munster minor hurling championship clash with Cork on the 7th of April at Pairc Ui Caoimh. NCW GAA is very proud of you and your achievement!

Feile na Gael

Our U15 hurlers compete in Feile Na Gael on Easter weekend, with the round robin fixtures taking place on Easter Saturday and knock out stages on Monday. The club wishes the players and mentor well in their campaign.

Sarsfield Cup 2022 – Primary School Football Competition

Hard luck to the West schools who lost out by the narrowest of margins to the eventual winners the East in the Sarsfield Cup. NCW GAA were proudly represented by Thomas Hanley, Aaron Mullenger (both Courtenay NS) and Jack & Tiernan Horgan (Killoughteen NS), and James Hennessy is a Selector with the side
