A practical guide to Games Design
On Saturday 21st of March a coaching workshop titled “A practical guide to Games Design” will take place in the Limerick Institute of Technology.
Registration will take place from 8:45am on the morning of the workshop.
The full itinerary for the day is as follows:
- 8:45 Registration
- 9:00 Opening Address – Paul Kinnerk
- 9:30 Open training session taken by Jerome Stack & Donie Buckley
- 11:00 Lunch
From 11:30 to 13:30
- Workshop 1 – Game design for u10 to u18 – Stephen Lavin
- Workshop 2 – Using games to teach Fundamental Movements Skills in GAA Nurseys – David Lavin
Soup and sandwiches will be provided for those coaches attending the day.

We are delighted to have such accomplished and quality speakers available for this event. The day will start with a briefing from Paul Kinnerk. The open training session will be taken by Donie Buckley and Jerome Stack. The workshops, after lunch, will be taken by Stephen Lavin - Game design for u10 to u18 and David Lavin – Fundamental movement skills and Games from u8s to u12s.
Payment can be made on the day when registering for the workshop. Clubs paying by cheques can make the cheque payable to ‘Friends of Limerick Football’. Please note that all funds received on the day are being redirected straight back into the Limerick Football Academies.
