Another very successful GAA summer camp came to a conclusion on Friday last with the now traditional water fight. A great week had by all and the weather stayed fine. Kyle Hayes and our own Ethan Hurley and Michael Cremin fresh from their Munster Hurling final victories (Senior and Minor) were on board as coaches for the duration of the week and were a big hit with our young magpies. There was also visits during the week from Gearoid Hegarty, Willie O’Meara, Karen O’Leary, Yvonne Lee, Rebecca DeLee, Jamie Lee and others.  Great credit to Clair Finnegan and Brian Fitzgerald for their super organization and efficiency in planning the week and getting in all the kit orders.  The camp was coordinated by Leigh Fitzgerald and Ide Trant assisted by young enthusiastic coaches from our u16 and minor panel as well as minors/seniors from the NCW camogie club.  THANKS TO ALL involved in ensuring that our young magpies gain GAA football and hurling skills throughout the week and above all have fun doing so.
