Under 10 Football Blitz hosted by Ballingarry 17.05.19

On a sunny Friday evening (which is hopefully going to become the norm) ideal for football , 17 members of our under 10 team met in Ballingarry for a football blitz. We split the boys into two teams and headed into battle. Team 1 had the measure of Fennagh-Kilmeedy and played an exceptional brand of football against a very strong team in their first match. Team 2 had a right ding dong with local neighbours Knockaderry and gave a great account of themselves although the result did not go our way. Our round two matches were against Feoghnagh Castlemahon for team 1 and Granagh Ballingarry A for team 2, again both teams played a great style of football, always moving the ball forward to get the scores that would get them across the line. Our final match then was a combined effort against Granagh Ballingarry B. It’s fair to say that all spectators were treated to a great game served up by both teams, with nobody sure what the final result was, it was decided to call it a draw.
